In 1980, Avdhut became Sreeguru or Sadhguru, guided by his father and Guru, Avdhoot Atmananda. The following day, he achieved the 8th Dimension of sadhana, known as Durga Sadhana. During this period, he visited Jnanganj with his father, where he met many eminent sadhaks and rishis.
